Liverpool FC and Spanish International player Luis Garcia came to support the European PlayStation Schools Cup Final that took place in Athens on 23rd May 2007. Luis also signed autographs and handed over the trophy to the eventual winners Berger Feld School from Gelsenkirchen in Germany, who beat Penyrheol School from Swansea 5-4 in a fantastic final.
“The standard of football at this schools tournament was very impressive. All the players wanted to win, yet they still managed to play their games in a friendly spirit. To play teams from all around Europe was an amazing experience for all the schools.” - Luis Garcia
