John Scales, Chairman

John is a former professional footballer with England, Liverpool, Tottenham and Wimbledon. He has previously set up and run a sports retail operation and a licensing and merchandising agency. He was a member of the PFA management committee and worked closely with many of the games governing bodies and associations.

Previous clients include Juventus Football Club, Inter Milan Football Club, The Cricket World Cup, Davis Cup Tennis and the British Lions.

He continues to work as a media commentator and independent sports consultant.

Dan Chard, Marketing Director

Dan has been working closely on relationships with clients over the past 7 years and has developed and run the European PlayStation Schools Cup run in over 8 countries across Europe, dealing with International PR companies, product managers, logistics and crew members. He has created marketing initiatives for Wella, Danone, LG Electronics and created the much copied Kit4schools campaign.

Dan inspires those around him and instils 'can do' ethos in all. He has excellent client liaison and project management skills. He is passionate, dedicated and committed to business and sport.

Steve Noy, Operations Manager

8 years recruitment experience including time as EMEA Recruitment Manager and North American Sales Recruiter for Canadian software organisation Pivotal Inc, helping it grow to $100m in turnover and employing 650 people worldwide. These roles involved considerable travel throughout the world which has enabled the transition in to managing Be Sports operations in their Pan-European framework to be that much easier.

Steve has been with Be Sport for 3 years and helped position the business to deal with the complex logistical solutions that come with putting on multiple world class events across Europe in a short timeframe and to strict budgets. In his time at Be Sport Steve has become IOSH accredited and is now a National and International CPC holder.
